The Instrumentation and electronics workshop possess calibration laboratory equipped with master instruments calibrated by certified laboratories to recognised international standards.

The calibration activities cover different types of meters and gauges, such as temperature, pressure, level, speed, electrical Power, salinity, viscosity, etc.

The instrumentation workshop has the capability to install, repair and maintain all navigation and wireless equipment, such as gyro compass, radar, echo sounder UHF/VHF radio telephone, direction finder, weather facsimile receiver, GMDSS, SVDR, etc. Pneumatic Systems are repaired too, such as but not limited to draft measuring, boiler automation, fuel and lube oil, O.D.M.E., ballast, fire & gas detecting, alarms, hydraulic controlled valves, etc. Communication systems are also repaired, such as telephone, intercom and public address system.
